ABSTRACT: From all that is discussed today about Education and School Health, some of the important issues are the methodology of the teaching-learning process, and among the current methodologies, it stands out the Peer Education. Peer education is a methodology that has been developed in Brazil in the perspective of health promotion of the school with the support of the Ministries of Education and Health. This methodology is characterized by the exchange of experiences and knowledge among people who have the same profile and who are part of the same group, as adolescents and youngsters in the school stage. In this methodology the youngsters and adolescents with more experiences are the protagonists and agents that promote the school health. They act as facilitators and multipliers of school health education with other adolescents and young people. Therefore, the present extension project is an incentive to educational practices in health and prevention in schools that use peer education as methodology in the teaching-learning process. In this project, the adolescents themselves and young students of the School of Application of the Federal University of Pará will be responsible for both the exchange of information and the coordination of discussion activities and debates among their peers on the inherent themes the phases of adolescence and youth in the perspective of promoting the health of the school. These students will be stimulated and mentored by the scholarship and VOLUNTEER STUDENTS of the extension project to utilize Peer Education in their educational activities. The objective of the project is to stimulate self-care, self-esteem, health promotion of the school, and the prevention of diseases and risk behaviors for diseases common in adolescence and youth, which may compromise the health of the school. The School of Application / UFPA is a space for interaction and dialogue between university students and primary and secondary school students, and conducive to discussion and debate on issues and common health problems in adolescence and youth, such as love, sex, diseases sexually transmitted diseases, early childbearing and parenting, child and adolescent violence, use of tobacco, alcohol and drugs, and so on. In addition, the school is a fertile field of research in the areas of school health and health promotion. The extension project is expected to provide mutual learning and experiences of teaching, extension and research between university students and students in the field of School Health through the peer education methodology and contribute to the Health Program in the School-PSE and the National Policy of Health Promotion of the Ministry of Health that guide the Unified Health System, nowadays.

ABSTRACT: The program is organized around two axes: 1) education for self-knowledge; 2) work as a liberating tool. These lines constitute the basis for elaborating a set of strategies on prevention and intervention in the field of violence that occur in family systems, highlighting women as subjects. The state, together with the University / Faculties can articulate programs and projects, whose designs make possible the prevention and overcoming of domestic violence. Thus, the general objective of this proposal is to inform, sensitize, clarify and instrumentalize women about the specific public policies that can provide empowerment and strengthening in the face of family violence experienced in day-to-day relationships. The program gathers teachers in an interdisciplinary team: Dentistry, Lawyer, Psychologist, Nurse, Social worker to accomplish the objectives and encourage the participants to gain autonomy and insertion in the productive world with the Belém do Pará Women's Police Station (DEAM) and communities (schools and churches). Methodologically, procedures include: raising databases, bibliography research, planning meetings, study groups, training of the student team, selection of participants, signing of a free and informed consent form, facilitation of workshops, professional training, report, booklet and articles. The expected results are to make it clear to women that violence in families is a form of oppression that has different gender shades related to social and cultural variations; to the orientations that male and female receive from various institutions, especially family and school. In this way, breaking with the socialization that induces the learning of violence requires practicing the ethics of care and of genres, as well as new identification processes that allow the structuring of the bonds between the self and the other based on the understanding of both as alterities and differences.
